House 27: DANTE

Our most remote house, Dante is perched high on the edge of our eastern retreat valley.

House 27 is a comfortable studio-style timber frame cottage built on piers, with features such as tongue-in-groove pinewood floors and a breakfast bar made from a single slab of local mesquite. Dante’s wrap-around deck opens out to sweeping mountain views; its railing is constructed from the wooden framework of a Mongolian yurt.
